Three Locals in $ at Senior WSOP |

Three North Florida residents have cashed in the World Series of Poker’s Seniors No Limit Hold ‘Em Championship.
George Zater, Atlantic Beach, took 70th place, winning $5,300 in the $1,000 buy-in event. Jeffrey Cavan, St. Augustine won $2,300 for 217th place and Deloris “Boots” Batson, also of St. Augustine, took home $2,100 for her 265th place finish.
The Seniors Championship attracted 3,142 entrants and had a prize pool of $2,827,800. |
